FAQ: How do we keep recurring SOC 2 tasks from being missed?

Create a calendar from the actual controls, not from a generic monthly checklist. Include the owner, backup, due date, evidence required, and escalation contact for each recurring activity. Add event-driven tasks such as onboarding and access changes to the operating workflow rather than waiting for the calendar. Review upcoming and overdue items in a short coordination meeting, and record why anything was late. Reminders can help, but someone must own the response. Keep the schedule aligned with the control wording so the team does not promise one frequency and quietly operate at another.
